About the Artist
Muted Frames is a collection of moments that don’t demand attention — they ask for presence.
I’m Tarik, a self-taught photographer based in Alberta, Canada. I’m drawn to stillness, symmetry, and solitude. I shoot the in-between: the breath before movement, the road after the decision, the quiet curve of a river that’s about to disappear behind the trees.
These photographs come from long walks, soft mornings, and places that don’t speak loudly — but leave something behind.
Every image is a fragment of thought. A frame from a film that never existed. A memory not quite your own, but somehow familiar.
This store is more than a gallery — it’s a quiet place. For slow moments. For silence. For you.
Thanks for being here.
